Bridge CC selects different image when it finished a task

When I select an image in Bridge, and something happens (either bridge is working on something, like deleting images as in the added video, or Photoshop is saving an image to the same folder), bridge will select a different image if it has finished it's "task".

Bloody annoying, and caused me to delete the wrong image in some cases (as shown in the attached example video). Been this way for at least a year now, since I already complained about it here:[settings][filter_by]=all&topic-reply-list[settings][reply_id]=20015514#reply_20015514

This time with a gif so the problem might be easier understood.

Edit: Gif doesn't seem to work, so a public dropbox link to the same vid:

The way I've seen it is it looks like it has selected a file, but it's record of its sort order is being rewritten with the former action. That file (.BridgeSort) is the bane of our existence. It's writing a text file and it's in that rewriting process that it appears to fail to hang on to the file that you selected after starting the other process, and then highlights something else. It's caught us all out. If you have a remarkable amount of patience and wait for the first task to complete and the folder to "settle down" again, it works, in my experience anyway. But otherwise, you're asking it to walk and chew gum at the same time. It apparently can't.

There are other circumstances under which the .BridgeSort file completely lets us down, too. If performance were better, perhaps this wouldn't be the norm—or maybe they need another solution. But compare deleting a large handful of files in Bridge with doing the same in the Finder/Explorer. Worse, a large folder of files. The response from Bridge isn't even close. Perhaps because it's rewriting that .BridgeSort file all the time. I really don't know.
