from Bridge, Load Files into Photoshop Layers constantly stalling out

This has been happening I believe ever since the 22.4(?) update.  All the time.

From the Bridge, Tools > Load Files into Photoshop Layers.  Sometimes it completes the task, sometimes it loads 2 images out of 5 and then just decides it's done.  This is getting supremely old.

The same thing happens if I load files into a stack within PS (File/Scripts/Load Images into Stack), which makes me wonder if this is a PS problem instead of Bridge.  If I'm doing focus stacking with 10 files, it will usually take me 3 to 4 attempts to get PS to load all the files.

In PS 22.4.1 (and a few previous versions), PS just stops loading files after 2 or 3.  There is no error message or any indication that something is wrong - it just stops loading files.  I have to quit PS and restart between attempts to get it to load all the files.

Ah, thanks for replying.  So it's definitely Photoshop, which is what I assumed as those actions from within Bridge are just links to Photoshop actions.

This is precisely what's happening to me.  I don't find that I have to quit and restart Photoshop, but sometimes I have to re-attempt the action 2 or 3 times for it to finally work.  Seems to be a ton of really superfluous and dumb issues going on with the latest update.

I made a comment on this previously which seems to disappeared into a black hole.  The same problem with loading only two layers and then quitting is evident when running Photomerge.  Definitely a PS bug there somewhere.  Have to close PS and then open all the files into a new PS window and run Photomerge from within PS instead of from within Bridge.  I know this doesn't help with your problem OP, but it might give someone at Adobe a clue, given they seem to be clueless most of the time.

I have the same problem. "Good" to see, it's not in my system. But such bug should Adobe solve quickly.

Anyone at Adobe working on this bug? Or even read this conversations/feedback/reports? Since I don't see any other possibility to report bug somehow directly on support....
