Photoshop: Extensions, cursor and bridge problems in CS6

Extensions are not automatically added when saving a file, yes it's 'on' in preferences. When saving (for example) a jpg file, and while saving clicking on a name of a file (with or without an extension) it doesn't take the original jpg extension, but the wrong extension of the file name (or no extension at all if it's a file name without an ext.).
My cursor is regularly disappearing, after clicking an other window outside p'shop it reappears as it was with the right tool. But the cursor works even when the it's not visible.
Bridge crashes regularly.
Alltogether not too happy with CS 6.

I see the same extension issue when exporting from Preview on Mac.

What other applications are running when the cursor problem occurs? Try quitting one of the other running apps one by one to determine if the problem goes away.

Are you running any system extensions?

They usually show up here in System Preferences:

I wonder if Mouse Locator could be the culprit. I might also try disabling that utility.

We've seen a few scattered reports about disappearing cursors, but it's not something affecting all users - that's why I suspect an extension or conflict with another running application.

Taking the name from a clicked file is an OS behavior that we don't have a lot of control over. (the open and save dialogs are OS dialogs)
Photoshop does add the correct extension at first, but also allows the user to change the file extension if they so wish (needed in some workflows for file types with multiple valid extensions).

Many users have reported problems with disappearing cursors on 10.8 -- Apple is investigating. It seems to happen most often for people with multiple displays.

As for Bridge crashing - have you installed the updates? And are you sending in the crash reports?
