Serious problems with NVIDIA driver 452.06 - roll back to 451.77 SOLVED

Consistent problems with 452.06 - BSOD and create Render target view failed - errors in PS - Adobe bridge and PS crashing, jittery zoom behaviour and GPU acc suddenly stopping.

Consistent across workstations with windows 10 pro and all versions of PS from 2018 upwards regardless of GPU settings (basic, normal, advanced etc)

Solution:
performing a complete cleanout with DDU /(might not be strictly necessary) and rolling back to 451.77 immediately solved all problems.

Please everybody report to NVIDIA so we can get a fix in nest studio driver release

Hey Michael,

what OS build are you running? Is it in combination with 2004?

I am using 452.06 with a 2070 super and a GTX1060 for the past 1.5 weeks without additional issues. Just the standard PS bugs.

Windows 10 Pro 1909 and PS 21.0.2. Curious if you are running a later build that causes the issues.

Cheers,
Dziga

we actually recently transitioned to from 1909 to 2004 after much testing - dont see no major issues with 2004 otherwise - but thats certainly a possibilty - you might be right - thinking about it the timing is suspious - thanks for the comment! Anyways 2004 and 451.77 seems to be solid ... updated OP

I'd have to agree with  @dziga I'm also using 452.06 with no issues from the driver.

All my issues have been related to PS update bugs.

Also running GTX 2060 super and Windows 10 pro 2004
