Camera Raw/DNG: DNG Converter Routinely Produces "Un-parsable" Files

i am using the adobe dng cenverter 6.6 (and previous versions). i am encountering something that i believe to be a bug in the software. when i batch process a set of cr2 files, inevitably about 1 in every 50 files or so is corrupted. i only discover this when i open up a group of the dng's in adobe camera raw. the window opens normally and i begin to aply adjustments to the files. however, when i come across a "corrupted" file, the application freezes and i get an error message that the file cannot be "parsed". the only way to exit at this point, is to force quit photoshop. if i then try to open only the corrupt file by itself, i get an the same error message but it shows up prior to launching adobe camera raw so the application does not freeze. if i take the same cr2 file, import it into lightroom (3 or 4) and export it as a dng, then it works fine. so it seems pretty clear that the cr2 file is not corrupt, but instead the standalone dng converter does not work exactly the same as the lightroom dng engine. any thoughts?

This is a known issue with DNG Converter 6.6. Please try DNG Converter 6.7. It was just released and is a free update:

thanks eric... this (6.7) seems to be working although i don't know if i had all of the options set to match what they were previously (such as preview size and backwards compatibility). i will assume it is all set and will, of course, let you know if i encounter any more problems. thanks again!
