Adobe Revel 2.3.2 is not installing on my Iphone 5s or on my Ipad 4rth gen. What can I do?

Ignacio,

There is an issue that the Revel version 2.3.2 on iOS does not install. We have diagnosed the problem, filed a support issue with Apple, and are actively trying to get resolution from Apple. We hope to resolve it as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you.

In the mean time, you can still access your photos on adoberevel.com from a browser and from our mac, win8, and android apps.

Pattie, the thing that annoys people is not knowing what is going on! Any possibility of an update please? Why is there nothing on the Adobe web site?
I'm glad the adobe works on my computer, but as many people say the major benefit is having it on our more mobile devices. Hence, a cure ASAP appreciated and updates in the mean time!

As you know, the new Revel release version 2.3.2 on iOS does not install properly from the iTunes store. We realize users are anxious for a working update, and that access from the web and other devices is not what you are after. We are working with Apple to try and resolve this ussue as soon as possible. The app tested fine both internally and at Apple when their review team installed and tested it, but something happened once it was posted to the app store and we are investigating the details. We have filed a support issue with Apple, and are actively trying to get resolution from them. We hope to resolve it as quickly as possible. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you. I will be posting to twitter, facebook, and both revel forums as soon as I have an update.

Dear Revel users:

As you may know, many users had issues installing Revel iOS update version 2.3.2. We are pleased to inform you that the issue has been resolved. We know how frustrating it must have been to not be able to access your photos and videos, and are truly sorry for all the inconvenience.

Please go to the App Store and update your app, and thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue. Please ensure that your operating system is on iOS version 7.1 or above when updating the app. We do rigorous testing prior to all releases, but unfortunately an unexpected interoperability issue occurred with the way our App was getting bundled up for delivery to customers.

If you are unable to upgrade to iOS version 7.1 or above at this time and can not load revel from the app store on your device, please download the latest version of the Adobe Revel app from iTunes to your computer and sync it to your iPhone, or iPad. If you are unfamiliar with this process, please plug your iOS device in to your computer with the USB cord that came with your device. Launch iTunes on your computer and select help > iPhone or ipad user guide. There are help topics there that will explain how to connect and sync your device.

The Adobe Revel app updated on my iPhone 4 just today, and now it won't open or work at all! It's app icon is kind of grayed out on the phone, and when I tap it, it does one of two things....either it just sits and says "Waiting...." underneath it, or it acts like it's reinstalling, as it says "Installing...." under it, but never completes! I've tried deleting it from the phone entirely, and redownloading, both directly through the App Store on the phone, and by downloading an resyncing with iTunes. Nothing has helped....so todays update has completely killed my Adobe Revel install, and I don't know to fix this!

Can open Adobe Revel following attempting to upload the current update.


Following the recent update of the Revel app I can no longer access Revel on my iPad or iPhone. I've deleted the app and reloaded from the iStore to no avail. Over the two days since the update was released I've made the attempt to upgrade no fewer than 6 time. Each time I get a "Unable to download app Adobe Revel - Cloud access for all your photos and videos could not be installed" error message. Is there a solution? Prior to the update I had no issues accessing Revel on either my iPhone or iPad. Whats up - is there a failure with the app?

Hi, I had the iOS app installed on my iPhone 5. I have been unable to install the latest update, tried multiple time (at least 10), so I decided I would delete the app and try reinstalling it from scratch. That doesn't work either. Any ideas?

I have to say. Adobe has blown it or did Apple? How do you release an update without checking to make sure it works everywhere?
Or, at least have a way to install the previous version?

I was embarrassed totally today. When I went to a meeting to show some photos and my app automatically updated but it wouldn't update and crashed!

Thank God I have my old iPad 2 with me. That is not set to auto update. This is a major screw up. Get it together.

Failed iOS update...now won't load Revel app on iPhone.


Was prompted to update Revel by my iPhone. The update has stalled multiple times. I've even now deleted and tried to reinstall and get stuck at same error--can't update at this time. Really frustrating as I have vacation pictures I want to share. Am on a good wifi network and everything else is running fine. Help please.
