Login fails on Safari, multi platform

Hi,

I’m unable to login on this forum using Safari, on either macOS, iPad and iPhone. No worrries using Safari. I’m I the only one?

Temporarily disable "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" under Preferences > Privacy... in Safari when signing in to the site, then re-enable it.

I don't think there is much that Adobe can do about this. This forum runs on 'getsatisfaction.com' and that is why the login procedure via adobe.com requires cross site tracking.

It is still a « problem ». This is by far not the only forum or site I use and yet it’s the ONLY one having this kind of issue. For a company like Adobe claming de become « cloud centric », I’m sure they can do better.
An in the end, I don’t care what the reason behind the problem is, it just doesn’t work as expected, so it should be handled as a problem.

I think the problem is that Apple does not allow exceptions when you disable cross site tracking.

Well it’s kind of irony a software provider failing to deliver a properly working forum.

Oh right, Apple makes a browser that’s not vastly used, so if there is an issue with ONE website, it MUST be the browsers fault and not that very one site.
And even if het getsatisfaction has an issue with a browser, THEY should get in touch with the editor to fix their issue. Son again, it should be changed to problem et not question.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Can't sign in on Photoshop Forum. I get the "You have successfully signed in" win....

That's basically it. I try to sign in, I get the "You successfully signed in. You may now close this window", but when I close the window I'm still not logged in.

Happens on Safari and on Firefox on my MacPro and on Safari on my MacBook Pro. The only browser that it works right now is Firefox on the MacBook Pro (and I'm not sure, because I haven't had to log in in a while on the MacBook Pro. Pretty annoying.

Cross site tracking is something absolutely undesired, that's why Apple has a checkmark to prevent it. I understand that the way Adobe is using it is not trying to sneak upon us and follow our every move on the internet (or maybe it is, I don't know), but Adobe should understand that it's a problem on the login system and not on the "prevent cross site tracking" system...
