Where can I report a bug to Adobe?

Trying I report a bug similar to how bug reports are done with Apple. Is it possible? Hines, the Adobe support is impossible. To think years ago we bands behind them to get quark out for the same reason.

Anyway tier one and community support haven't been helpful and I need to actually report a bug. Is it possible? If they do t get bug reports then how can they hope to fix them

Is there a separate place for enhancement requests?

I find Adobe support and customer care to be appalling these days. Enough that I'm about ready to pack in my cc subscription.

This is the right spot.  "Problems" are bug reports and "Ideas" are feature requests.  It enables other people to vote on features that they want to see, and the engineers to get additional information on reproducing the bugs, so although it looks like a community forum, there is a fair bit of staff involvement here.

It would be nice however to know bug reports are acknowledged and taken care of ... I agree this does not look like a professional bug report service. It leaves a lot to the imagination, and that's bad practice towards users who are anxious to see the problems they have resolved.

Yah I don't see any getsatisfaction as a legitimate service for big reoorts. If you have a team of engineers honestly there's should be a review and submitted process. At the very least if this is going to be used there should be an acknowledgement of receipt and reproduction. In everything I've looked through for staff involvement it's mostly usage issues here. I certainly am not left with any kind of warmth nfrim hope that anything I mention here is even read by someone who can implement change.

So if that is the case Adobe need to do much better communicating it.

That's understandable, although to be fair to Adobe, it's probably better than the black hole bug reports usually go into (and still do, for other Adobe software)

There is an internal review process. But GetSatisfaction is a good public facing site for problems, ideas, and questions. Read the topics - we do acknowledge issues, or say when we can't reproduce the problem.

Howdy Hooligan,

There are actually quite a number of Adobe employees who keep an eye on these forums in order to hear about bugs our customers are hitting but we didn't notice.  Sometimes it's workflow, sometimes it's just an odd setup, but we are paying attention...  Post your issues here and someone will get back to you.  If you want a more clearly-defined and formal relationship, you can always apply for our prerelease program -- they you can log bugs and get some insight into how they are triaged and prioritized.

Hope that helps,
David
