Lightroom Classic: (5.7)No folders showing for lightroom import

For years I have been using LR with no problems. Suddenly no folders are showing at all for import. I also use Photo Mechanic to cull & then drag & drop into LR. This has also stopped working.

All images files are there when I open the folders outside of LR.

I have checked for LR updates, I have run the Install Wizard repair & even found my original product key & uninstalled/reinstalled LR. I have also checked folder permissions. Nothing is working.

Screen shot attached. Can anyone help?

Do you see "Include Subfolders" in the middle of the window? If so, click yes. If not, click on the memory card subfolders yourself until images show up.

@carlos_cardona You clearly did not look at that screenshot...

I looked, but I didn't assume my old eyes wouldn't catch it!

If you reinstalled with a product key it must be an older version of Lr.  What version is it?

Which operating system are you using?

Your screenshots are a bit small to read but it looks like the Source panel is docked and you have an empty folder selected, so what happens when you click on the Pictures folder?
