Lightroom Classic: Built-in lens profiles for Nikon Z 6II can be disabled for one lens but not another

With a Nikon Z 6II, the built-in lens profile can be disabled for the Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S but not for the Z 24-70mm f/4 S:

The only Adobe "documentation" about the change to built-in lens profiles I've found is Rikk Flohr's post here:

"This has been implemented for select camera models going forward from the August release (Camera Raw 12.4, Lightroom Classic 9.4 and LIghtroom Desktop 3.4).  There are no plans to make this retroactive to previously released camera models."

But the behavior with the Z 6II suggests that whether lens profiles can be disabled depends on the lens and not the camera?

Depending on the in-camera metadata for lens corrections, we either allow or disallow embedded lens profiles for certain Nikon Z series lenses.

For example: when the camera reports that distortion should not be disabled (e.g. some wide-angle lenses or zooms), we fall back to opcodes that cannot be disabled.
