Lightroom Classic: FTP Upload broken after update

Upgraded to 10.3 and it seems that the ftp support is broken. When I try to upload a web gallery using Juicebox Pro, then I get the error:

FTP transfer failed with message ‘?:0: attempt to call field 'AgNetIO' (a nil value)’.

I get the same issue with FTP Upload plug in.

I have just reverted to version 10.2, and the issue has gone away.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Thanks, Steve.
I am not using Juicebox server for testing.

At what stage do you see this error?
Can you browse the server from Lightroom Classic?

Thanks,
Sunil

Same issue with MacBook Pro 15 inch 2017 running the same system software.

Browse the server in Juicebox? No - unspecified error.

Happy to try any other software/plug-ins to test!

Steve,
To clarify:
In the Lightroom Classic Web module, you selected Upload Settings > Edit and then tried Browse, right?
Could you please let us know the plugin you used?

Thanks,

Sunil

Yes! Both Upload, and browse are not working.

Upload gives the specified error above - the Browse command gives the error:

Cannot browse the FTP server.

Have tried the following plug-ins...
Classic Gallery
Classic FTP Gallery
Track Gallery
Juicebox-Pro

On 10.2 - with exactly the same system software I can browse and upload

Hey Johannes - someone from Adobe has contacted me off list and I have sent through various logs, so hopefully it will be sorted in the next release.

Johannes - I ended up reverting back to version 10.2, as uploading FTP galleries is far more important to me than any of the new features in 10.3/ Hopefully 10.4 will nail the issue!

Steve, I exported the Gallerie to the harddrive and then I uploaded it with my FTP-client...

This issue can happen only on MacOS Mojave (10.14.x). MacOS later than this, won't have this issue.

Thanks,
Sunil

@username I had to roll back to 10.2 - in Creative cloud app, click on All Apps, then on the three dots next to LR Classic, select Other Versions, and then 10.2 The functionality returns. Apparently it is an issue with Mojave, although it is only the previous version of the OS, so shouldn't really be an issue. Adobe were looking into it, and got a bunch of error logs from me, but who knows if it will be sorted in 10.4

Is there a fix to this yet?  I'm having the same problem.  Can't upload FTP.  Filezilla works fine, but I'm not subscribed to CC to have to create workarounds.
Googling this problem shows that this has been an issue for years, but every discussion about it seems to just trail off without any actual answer from Adobe.

@markfitz No, there hasn't been a release since 10.3. Roll back to 10.2 or upgrade your operating system are both solutions for now. Next release should fix it.
