Lightroom Classic: Images not displaying properly in Develop Mode

I have been using LrC without a problem since its inception.  When I upgraded from 9.4. to 10.0 and upgraded my catalog I experienced a major problem.  The images all are fine in Library mode but when I go to the Develop mode the images are all jumbled and corrupted.  Often little pieces of multiple images appear or just color boxes of varying sizes.  I am working on an IMAC 27 inch (late 2013 model) running OS Catalina 10,15,7

If you disable GPU (Edition/preferences/Performance/) it is the same ?

Hi Oui Oui Photo - love the name.  I did try that yesterday and it worked.  However I understand Version 10 is using GPU for certain new features.  See below for another suggestion from Adobe and my comment

Most of the time when there is a GPU issue it is either the GPU is too old (what GPU do you have) either the driver is not up to date either for Nvidia you have the gammer driver and not the Studio drivers

Hi OuiOui - thanks again I have attached the info on my GPU - what do you think?

It is a quite old GPU now (2013) and it is not following LRC minimum requirements. You have 4GB, this is ok but the  GPU Compute benchmark for this card is 1800 and LRC need 2000 Minimum

Thanks-The computer is otherwise working fine- do you know if I can simply update the GPU? Will call Dr Mac- a local MAC repair store

Sometimes weird behavior is corrected/cured by resetting the preferences.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.

2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.

3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.

4. Close Lightroom.

5. Restart Lightroom.

Does the behavior continue after resetting the preferences?

Hi Rick - thanks for that.  What I did was turn off the GPU and it solved the problem but perhaps better to try what you suggest as I understanding Version 10 using the GPU for certain new features.  What do you think?

Glad to hear everything is working.

If you're happy now I would just keep going unless you encounter other weird behavior. However, it won't hurt anything if you're curious and want to reset preferences.

Lo que se debe realizar es salir y entrar de nuevo en lighthroom, también una limpieza del cache, para que todo vuelva a actualizarse
