Lightroom Classic: Lens Profile causes erratic vignetting correction

Recently I bought a new lens, the Voigtländer Apo-Lanthar 35mm F2 for Sony E-mount (full-frame). Lightroom and Camera Raw don't provide a profile for this lens as yet, so I set out to make a custom profile with Adobe Lens Profile Creator (henceforth ALPC). Using this profile in Lightroom Classic causes erratic behaviour of vignetting correction at f/2, the widest opening of the lens; f/2.8 and smaller apertures work just fine. Opening this same raw file in Photoshop's Camera Raw shows the same behaviour.

Here's an example. Look at the overly bright extreme corners.

I used the Auto settings for all corrections in the Advanced tab of ALPC; I made another profile with "One-Parameter Radial Falloff" under "Vignette Model" in ALPC's Advanced tab, with essentially the same results, overly bright and sharply delineated areas in the extreme corners.

I'm on macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and Lightroom Classic 10.2 and Camera Raw 13.2. Raw files and profiles can be made available on request.

How can I make a profile and avoid this anomaly? Thanks.

At what aperture did you create the Lens Profile?

At apertures f/2 - 2.8 - 4 - 5.6 - 8 - 11. I also made a separate test profile with only f/2.

I spoke to the Camera Raw engineer and they advise a profile for this lens is planned for a future update.

For your current needs they suggest:

"They can try the other manual Vignette Models such as 2 and 3 parameter to see if that helps. "

@Rikk

Lo and behold, the 2-parameter vignette model doesn't show this anomaly! With an additional manual vignette correction the raw files look good enough to me. Thanks.
