Lightroom Classic: Library Filter counts disappearing

I often use the image counts with the Library Metadata Filter. Today I noticed that if I resize the window so it's not full screen, or if I make the panels on the side larger, the counts disappear. I'm on a large screen (2560x1440), so even if LR isn't maximized, there should be plenty of room to display these numbers. But the columns don't seem to be resizing correctly and the numbers are getting cut off. In the screenshot below, you can see where the numbers are getting cut off, even with lots of room available. If I make the screen any smaller, they disappear completely.

Hi Kelly, I can resize columns, resize the entire window and my library filter counts do NOT disappear.

I have always been able to do that in the past as well (at least I think I could). I'm not sure when this behavior started. I'm on Windows 10, running LR Classic CC version 8.2.

I cannot resize the columns at all either.

As a first troubleshooting step, try resetting LR's preferences: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/ . That often fixes things when LR's user interface goes bonkers.

I tried that and it did not make a difference unfortunately.

I just tried my old computer, which is running Windows 7 and Lightroom Classic CC 8.0. I created a brand new catalog, and I deleted the preference file there as well, and it exhibits the same exact behavior. I cannot resize these columns and if I resize the window even slightly from max, the counts disappear.

That's strange it happens on two computers, with a new catalog.

It sounds like you can see the counts if the LR window is maximized.  (Note that LR has never allowed you to resize the columns.)

Also, can you please copy/paste the first ten lines from the menu command Help > System Info?

Yes, when the window is maximized, everything looks normal and I can see the counts, but if I resize the window even a little bit, they are cut off.

What are the pixel dimensions of the two displays?

My new (Win10) computer display is 2560x1440 pixels. I did try changing it to a smaller pixel dimensions and had the same result.

I don't have a monitor on the Windows 7 computer - I only access it over remote desktop, but it displayed the same behavior when I remoted in from my Win10 computer as well as an old laptop with a much smaller display.
