Lightroom Classic: no longer allowing Edit in PS with LR adjustments

Hi  bit of an odd one, but my LRC will no longer allow an edited RAW file (edited direct in LRC) to be opened in PS with the " edit copy with LR adjustments" function, it just opens the unedited RAW file direct into PS, it only seems to work on Jpegs and Tiffs, is this new?  I thought it did it with RAW files as well.

LRC v9.4

PS v22

Not new (it's not supposed to do this of course).

You could try resetting your LR preferences (see URL below) but what you might have to do is a reinstall of both LR and Photoshop through the CC application after doing an Uninstall first. DO KEEP preferences when doing this uninstall (you'll be asked). Then install Photoshop first, then Lightroom. Usually when there's some issue with the Edit In function between the two applications, this fixes the 'link' that was broken.

Hi Andrew, thanks for the info.

resetting preferences didn't work, and I'm really not wanting to update LRC as the latest version did not run at all well on my machine, as it crashed every time I tried to import images.

i guess this could be the nail in the coffin for LR for me.

It shouldn't use this dialog with raw files.

The Original/Copy/ or Copy with Lightroom Adjustments is for derivative files (JPEG, PNG, PSD, Tiff)
