Lightroom Classic: Please give the option to disable all Lightroom keyboard shortcuts if we wish so

Every time I write keywords in Lightroom classic some disaster happens because some of the shortcuts. You enter the metadata fields, hit the wrong key and everything gets messed up. As I have no time to investigate what key did what I find it quicker to close Lightroom and restart the program but it is really a nuisance. Please give us the option to disable ALL and I mean ALL keyword shortcuts and if we need those again enable them. But when I write metadata this option only slows a lot my workflow.

Thank you.

Can Lightroom Classic also do my taxes? Please?

C'mon people, no software application in THE WORLD has a keyboard shortcut toggle! Can you prove me wrong?

Although none that I know has a shortcut toggle nearly ALL important apps have the ability to change the keyword shortcuts and if you leave them blank you have basically eradicated the problem.

And although it would be wonderful that Adobe could do my taxes I don't ask them for this yet. What I asked them is to be a little more advanced and embrace progress. We are close to 2021 and still there is no ability to change keyword shortcuts to liking, still no ability to export metadata as CSV or Excel files unless you use a third vendor plugin (at least those exist) I have seen nothing in the keyboard shortcuts department yet.

This problem occurs when you think your cursor is in a text field (for example, "title") when in fact it is not.  Then as you type what you wanted to put in that text field all your keystrokes are looked at as shortcut commands.  I think this has happened to all of us and it is quite annoying.  The worst part is that you don't know what was actually done as you typed.   You can back out using <Ctrl>+z, but that too is challenging as you are never quite sure how far back you need to go as the info in the "undo" menu is usually quite vague as to what it will undo if you click it.

I'm wondering if they could put in a "speed key sound".  such that every time you invoke a shortcut through speed keys a little "ding" is played.  At least then you'd know to stop typing right away and only have to undo one or two commands.

Of course there is software to turn off keyboard shortcuts. I would suggest that ones that cannot turn them off don't use simple alpha characters as keyboard shortcuts when there are fields to enter text. The problem with Lightroom Classic, though, is that it is way too easy to accidentally invoke a keyboard shortcut when an attempt to enter text is being made. When I'm in a text field, I should not be able to invoke a keyboard shortcut with a keystroke that could be part of the text I'm entering.

For Macs I found a solution that works. It requires a bit of work: first gathering a list of menu names for all the keystrokes you don't want LR to use as shortcuts, e.g., all the single text characters. Then simply set the up with new keystrokes as described in that document. It doesn't disable them. But it associates them with a different keystroke, one you choose, that won't interfere with text entry.
