Lightroom: Cycle Info Display doesn't always work in Full Screen Preview

If I invoke Full Screen Preview (F) from Grid mode, Cycle Info Display (I) has no effect. However, if I invoke it from Loupe mode, then Cycle Info Display works properly.

Windows 7 64-bit, Lightroom 5

This should be fixed in Lightroom CC/Lightroom 6.

I am seeing the same behavior in Win 7. When you can see the info, it is in the same location as when not in full screen mode, which is not in the top corner of the display. The info display never appears on a MacBookPro running 10.8.4.

My preferred behavior for full screen "F" would be for the info to cycle and the info location to be user definable.

Otherwise I luv the new "F" mode and use it all the time.

I assumed that the Info Display in Full Screen Preview was intended behavior. But your observations suggest that it might be unintended (i.e. a "bug"), perhaps because the programmer forgot to turn off the "I" keyboard shortcut when moving from Loupe to Full Screen Preview.

But it would be excellent if Cycle Info Display in Full Screen Preview was a feature, not a bug.

Thanks for the report John,

I've reproduced on Win7, but could not repro on Macos..
I've passed it on to the team.

Here's another bug with Full Screen Preview that may be related:

Hmm, I don't think this is fixed.

Now, Cycle Info Display never works in Full Screen Preview, regardless of whether it is invoked from Grid or Loupe view. Tested on LR CC 2015 / OS X 10.10.3 and Windows 8.1.

It used to work fine in LR5 - when in F mode I could toggle with I to displaz meta data without having to leave the F mode each time. In LR 6 this however no longer works at all. It only works in E or in Shift-Ctrl-F mode in LR6.

I used this feature a lot in LR5 and am really missing this

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled LIGHTROOM CC - Cycle Info Display never works in Full Screen Preview.

Cycle Info Display never works in Full Screen Preview, regardless of whether it is invoked from Grid or Loupe view. Tested on LR CC 2015 / OS X 10.10.3 and Windows 8.1.

In LR 5, Cycle Info Display worked if Full Screen Preview was invoked Loupe view but not from Grid view.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Shotcut "I" no longer available in LightRoom 6 in Full-Screen Modus.

According to your CHAT-Expert it's nolonger possible with version 6 to display with the shortcut "I" some picture-informations in the full-screen modus (shortcut "F"). This was a good feature up to Version 5. Could you please re-implement this within futures upgrades?

The functioning of the "i" (info) in full screen preview in LR 5 was fickle. Sometimes it worked another time it didn't. It was always vanishing when switching magnification and then it was necessary to go through 3 clicks to get to the proper one.
In LR 6, first I didn't have it a tall, then I had it for a couple of shots, then it became non-operational again.

I need it!!! Fix it, you PS guys!

This issue still exists in Lightroom CC 2015.6.1 and it's pretty annoying. Any fix planned?
