LR 10.0 - GUI displays inaccurate in develop module

LR 10.0 doesn't refresh various GUI elements correctly in the development module, e.g.

* crop tool - displayed as fixed ratio, while it isn't

* star ratings not updated/ shown in toolbar

Sure, the crop example:

First image original size, I press "r", second image shows crop with fixed aspect ratio symbol (top right corner, closed lock icon), but actually is custom size.

I think you have somethings confused.

The crop tool is showing the Aspect Ratio as Original. AFAIK all Leica M cameras that I have ever used are 3:2 ratio. So with the Lock Icon showing Locked even if you crop the image the RATIO will still be 3:2.

It will just remove parts of the image, Cropped Out, but the aspect ratio will still be 3:2

To Crop to some other specific ration, 4:3, 16:9, Whatever you select that ratio from the dropdown, double triangle icon, next to the word Original.

If you want to do an Actual Custom crop you click the Lock Icon so it shows the Lock icon as Unlocked. then crop the image to a random size.

You have not actually Cropped that image you included. If you had the portion that would be cropped out would still be visible and slightly Greyed Out like this.

So you have not cropped that image at all.

Also you are only showing One Image and nothing about the star rating is shown.

Nope, sorry, you got it wrong. (btw. I use LR since the first beta, so I know how it should work ;-) )

What you see in my picture: it shows the wrong lock icon, while the crop is actually free. It's a display bug, the GUI doesn't update correctly.

Btw. When I mouse-over the icon, it shows the correct (open lock) symbol.

Same with the star rating.

Also:

The screen in develop module doesn't show a high-res preview until zooming in/ out.
