Nikon D7200 NEF conversion not as good as with NX-D?
Hi, I am using Lightroom to process the raw files from my Nikon D7200. I have compared the results to the Nikon NX-D software and unfortunately I like the ones from the NX-D software better. This is mostly because of the way the noise appears to be handled and there is a certain lack of contrast in the image in LR. The out of focus area's contain more noise and are less appealing in LR then in NX-D (without any settings changes in NX-D). I cannot seam to reproduce the same crispness I get from NX-D in LR. Does anybody recognise this / am I missing some processing tricks in LR? I can provide a good sample image at ISO 800 where the differences are (too my eye at least) quite visible.
