Lightroom Classic: Error 191

How can I get Lightroom Classic and have my only catalog on my back-up drive I really don't need Cloud and all the additional apps since I don't do anything other than organized pictures and crop and adjust tone and such. This new Cloud will not find the catalog of a Lightroom 4 which I have over 35000 picture on it is the any way to have the catalog be pickup by cloud at present Cloud tells me I have 5 pictures of a trip which we  took over 5300 pictures. If there is no solution can you tell me what other photo program will accept a Lightroom catalog

It looks like you have installed the Lightroom for Desktop with cloud based storing of pictures.

You can install Lightroom Classic (LrC icon), and just open the old Lightroom 4 catalog. Then Lightroom Classic will update the catalog to your current version of Lightroom Classic.

On the other hand, if you want to go from Lightroom 4/Lightroom Classic to Lightroom for desktop/Lightroom Mobile, you can choose Migrate from .... in the File Menu of Lightroom for desktop (Lr icon), and select your old catalog file. Then all your pohotos will be imported to Lr and stored in the cloud of your Adobe account.

Make sure you get the correct plan. Lightroom Classic is part of the Photography plan, not the Lightroom plan. Both cost the same, so this can be confusing.

I think I have the right one. it says that Lightroom Classic is part of my subscription but I am getting and Error code 191 when I go to load Creative Cloud. I tried it several times and get the same message. Should I just try installing Classic without syncing Cloud?
