Lightroom Desktop: it keeps saying my trial has ended

today it keeps saying that my trail has ended and wouldn't allow me to edit files.  My subscription for CC suite is active.  All other apps works fine except for Lightroom.  When I click the buy now button, it says I subscribed and Lightroom is ready to use, but the Buy now blue buttom won't go away and I cannot use the app.

Please go to Help>System Info… and get us the exact installed version number of your software so we can check further. And which OS are you using?

Also, what type of subscription do you have? For example, some education licenses don't include cloud services.

@Rick , you have access to subs info? Are you able to see if @ricktong 's sub includes cloud services? I'm wondering if the university has changed its subscription terms.

I'm checking into this with our license support. I'll get back to you when I hear from them.

Your school's license does not include support for Lightroom mobile. You could check with your school's IT dept. for more information.

Is Lightroom the same as Lightroom mobile?  I am trying to use Lightroom on my Mac.

Lightroom desktop works with Lightroom mobile but requires a separate subscription. A Lightroom Desktop subscription includes Lightroom Mobile with premium features.

That's clear as mud ;)

So basically the school's license doesn't include access Lightroom desktop or Lightroom mobile, is that right?

So @ricktong would need a separate Lightroom 1TB subscription, or perhaps a Lightroom 100GB Premium subscription through the iOS/Android App Store to be able to use and sync Lightroom?

Yeah, that's correct. The school's account does, however, include Lightroom Classic.

When you log into the Creative Cloud App - are you choosing the Personal or Enterprise login?

Unfortunately, your school has licenses in which all services are disabled. While there is cloud storage included in the license, services like Lightroom, Fonts and other cloud related features are turned off at the license level. Lightroom Desktop is a service based eco-system and requires the service to operate.
Your school would have to upgrade their ETLA (Enterprise Term License Agreement) to include services in the product licenses they give their users in order for Lightroom to work.
Your administrator should be able to get into the Admin Console and open up a support case to get further licensing information.
