Lightroom Mobile: Sync Issues

I have a photo that I edited a while ago. It was taken on my iPhone using the Lightroom app and I had edited it in Lightroom on my phone, iPad, and MacBook Pro. More recently I went back to export that photo and received an error message. I could neither edit or export the photo.

Error Code: T20200122

I know that there are other posts on the idea of allowing for some form of offline storage or offline library for Lightroom CC, but I think this may underscore the value of having that backup. This is not the first photo that I have lost due to sync issues either. I am at the point where I am seriously considering moving back to Lightroom CC Classic on my MacBook Pro and syncing Collections as I needed. It's a shame because I was hoping to really try moving to a completely mobile workflow. The missing features I could deal with, but I'm not willing to keep losing photos or losing work due to sync issues.

Hi, I keep getting an error code T20200122, apparently a syncing error. I use an iPad, iPhone and MacBook, the error comes up on my phone after downloading and editing pictures from my iPad. According to the iPad app everything is synced and backed up. Screenshots below of error.

Appreciate any help.

All the best,
Simon.

UPDATE: I spoke with Adobe Support about this. Apparently the sync failed at some point and the metadata containing the modifications to the image became corrupted. Most likely, it happened when I was working on my iPad as I could not recover the file from my offline archive. The RAW file is fine, but I need to re-do all of the work I did to it.

It is one of the biggest concerns come to life... Sync issues where work gets lost is cause for trepidation in adoption of cloud-only storage. At least the entire file wasn't lost this time (I have had that happen before to a different set of images).
