Photoshop Elements: Can I drag and drop image files on Dock icon?

Used to be able to drop a jpg photo on the PS 9 icon (Mac) in order to open and edit the photo. Unable to do so with PS 10 (Mac).

Are you looking in your user's folder for Applications? Or the root folder for Applications?

It should be located in the root Applications folder here:

/Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 10/Support Files/Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor

It should work just fine. Works on my side at least. Make sure you are dragging it to the Editor icon (the one that looks like a couple stacked images, a person's silhouette in front of some mountains), and not on the Organizer icon (a set of four squares, one of which is filled in and circled).

If you got the right icon, make sure it is the correct shortcut/alias. The Welcome Screen also uses the same icon as the Editor. If you hover your mouse over your dock icon, it should say "Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor" and not "Adobe Photoshop Elements 10".

Brett, I am unable to find the PS Editor icon anywhere in my Mac application folder. Can only see the PS Elements 10 icon.

Installed this software this afternoon via download from Adobe. So where did I miss the boat?

... but thanks for your help.
