Photoshop Elements: Why are my photos fuzzy when I create a slideshow?

my pictures look great when I veiw them in just about any program. However, when I include them in a slideshow, they look very fuzzy. The quality of all the photos deminishes greatly when viewed in a slideshow. My computer exceeds all requirements and the quality is even poor when I burn the slideshow to DVD and play it on an HD TV.

Natalie:
They look fuzzy because they are being downsampled to SD Video quality. Photoshop Elements doesn't yet support HD video Slideshows. You would need to use Premiere Elements if you want HD quality video.
You can start your slideshow creation in Photoshop Elements, and then move it to Premiere Elements to finish it up and burn your DVD in HD quality.

For backing up to removable storage, on the Mac platform that isn't supported, but it is on Windows.
Which platform are you on?
