Palette shortcut

Is there a keyboard shortcut to move between palettes when they are nested together.

For example, how can move between layers, channels and paths?

There is no keyboard shortcut to rotate among them (partly because it would be completely ambiguous what palettes you were targeting).
There are keyboard shortcuts for some of the palettes -- see the Window menu in Photoshop. And you can assign additional shortcuts under edit->Keyboard Shortcuts...

Right. I was hoping once you targeted a palette you'd then be able to cycle through it.

So, looks like the best way to do that would be to just separate all the palettes you use often and create a shortcut key for each?

You don't really target a palette -- you can change them, move them, etc. but there is no single target involve unless you're actually clicking or dragging.

Yeah, sounds like your best bet.

How about once you're in a command, like 'fill' for example. Can you control the options with the keyboard?

Can you change the Use and the Blending mode with the keyboard?

The blend modes are a global shortcut, and in a dialog you actually do have a target to accept different shortcuts (the dialog limits the scope, as opposed to having 30 palettes and a dozen documents open - where you don't know what the user intended).

You as a user don't do that.
That is something done by the developer of the application.
