Photoshop 2015.1 - my Alt/zoom tool and is slow with Wacom pen

After the latest update Photoshop tools are giving me problems. When using the alt key to zoom in - especially with a Wacom pen - I get temporary freeze-ups and then it will either finally zoom in or sometimes lag and zoom out instead. Also the magnify cursor will often disappear or stay stuck on even when trying to switch to another tool from the tool bar. Same freezing/sticking happens with healing and cloning tools. Using Windows 8.1 and up-to-date driver Nvidia GTX660.

Anyone have a suggestion for fixing this, or should I install 2014 version until this gets a real fix from Adobe?

Just an update: It looks like using the Wacom pen for Alt/zooming etc. is laggy. Using the Wacom mouse and/or regular usb mouse I was not able to replicate the issue. Also, once I had the issue when using the Wacom pen, I could eventually get back to good performance by switching to mouse..no idea why this started happening after the new release..I am using an old Intuous 3 pad.

Let Wacom know about this so they can start investigating.
I haven't been able to reproduce it myself.

Playing around with it more..different zoom modes seem to make it break quicker (resize windows to fit vs. resize all windows or scrubby zoom). Either way, when using Wacom pen to tap quickly and repeatedly in order to get zoomed in and out, I eventually get to a point where it freezes/lags. It is fixable every time by removing the Wacom pen from the tablet area. I can them immediately bring the pen back into the tablet area and it works fine until I use it to repeatedly tap/zoom.

I'll give Wacom a try later this week when I get time..not sure what they will do considering the last updated driver for this tablet is very old.

It seems the problem is centered around the feedback from the pen tip itself, whether it's a software setting or what who know's. I can hold down the alt key on my keyboard or my Wacom tablet hotkey assigned to alt, and then use the Wacom pen click button to zoom in and out very quickly with no lagging or cursor issues. Guess I'll just alter my workflow/tool setup and call it good.

Check the "double click distance" option in the Wacom controls, and make sure it is turned off.

I have the exact same problem here. Everything works fine as long as i'm using a mouse.

Other stuff (undoing, for instance) also become slow when using the pen.

Check with Wacom for driver updates. If you have the latest driver, then please let Wacom know what is happening when you use the tablet driver.
