Thanks for the heads-up!
Unfortunately the update does not seem to be available yet.

In the Creative Cloud app, click the gear icon, then "Check for App Updates".

Thanks, in the meantime the update has »appeared« in the CC app anyway.

Good of you (whoever in the Photoshop team it was that did it) to fix the Liquify bug as quickly as that.

"Check for..." does not show the update here, just "Up to date". Running the stand-alone updater from the "Keep Photoshop up to date" webpage yields "... update not applicable ...". I checked and have PS CC 2015.1 though.

Happy to say that the update did arrive this morning (Amsterdam TZ), so my issue at least is solved!

Sadly, I jumped on this update instead of waiting to hear from others. After updating, Photoshop repeatedly crashed so I attempted to uninstall and have wasted the entire day trying to get my system back in working order. The only difference made to my machine in the past week has been installing the PS update this morning so clearly that is the problem. Uninstall via the CC Desktop App failed, uninstall via Control Panel failed, CC Cleaner Tool had errors, reinstalling still crashes even when going back to only installing CC 2015... beyond frustrated at this point.

Everything WAS working just fine prior to this update... would appreciate any solid suggestions or advice as to how to get PS CC 2015.1 back in working order - NOT really concerned with getting CC 2015.1.1

This post was about the latest update... My response was about problems with the latest update.... Seems related to me but I'll go to the new thread

This topic is announcing the availability of the new update. Your issues on your system with the installer, uninstaller and cleaner are not part of that announcement.

**URGENT: Photoshop crashing due to graphics card " ***

I recently installed Photoshop and Lightroom 2015 CC (Adobe Creative Cloud) and since then it has been crashing every-time it tries to open any file, any size. It gives a plain error Adobe Photshop has stopped working. After multiple follows up with the Adobe team, they said that the faulting module name is "ig7icd64.dll". They requested to update the Graphics card driver from the manufacture website.

I went to both DELL and INTEL websites and ran all the diagnostics tools. It did not recommend any updates. Further I even force installed once again, but problem did not get solved. I also confirmed the same by talking to their support desk. So there is not issues with the drivers at all which I have confirmed.

Photoshop was working perfectly fine before the update and now am unable to use it. Lightroom currently works fine with no problems.I also updated to Photoshop CC 2015.1.1

This is really frustrating and it feels like I have wasted my money. Need a quick solution now..

I have a dell laptop with Windows 7 64 bit OS (Dell Inspiron 5520).

It could be your video card or video drivers that aren't quite up to the challenge.

Look at your PS / Edit / Prefs / Performance - Use Graphics Processor.

If it is on, turn it off, and see if that helps then turn it back on, but adjust the Advanced settings to lower capabilities: Advanced to Normal or Normal to Basic.

If it's already off, then turn it on and see if things change.

As I stated before... 2015.1 worked great. If the video card requirements changed for this update, that should have been been clearly stated in the desktop app update note. I also can't edit the performance settings because, as I stated before, PS freezes and locks up when trying to close.

No, the video card requirements did not change.

I was actually replying to another post that has since been removed, perhaps for being a duplicate post on another thread.

I update yesterday to 2015.1.1 Release and since then the Graphic Processor is 'sometimes' being disabled in RAW. My drivers are up to date - AMD Radeon HD 8670D + HD 7000 dual graphics.
On other occasions (not all the time) when I open the image from RAW to Photoshop I get a white window where the image should be and Photoshop freezes then I need to use the Task Manager to close Photoshop.
Other times I have no problems when using the same workflow.
Have Windows 10 but as yet cannot get the latest updates ad it hasn't been 31 days since I installed it over Windows 8.1.

Is it possible to roll back to the previous version of Photoshop before this update?
