Photoshop CC: 3D mesh disappears on moving mesh or camera!

I've been working on painting the texture of a 3D model for a few days using Photoshop CC. I was really excited about the idea of being able to keep my entire texturing pipeline within one program, but now I'm not so sure this was worth signing up for a subscription. The 3D texture painting functionality feels so underdone I'm annoyed that it's considered a finished product. Here's today's showstopper bug:

When I finished work on my texture the other night(after losing half an hour's painting because it's entirely unclear whether the embedded texture file is saved with the main file or seperately, which being as it has to remain embedded anyway was an extremely irritating discovery), I saved it and closed the file as normal. Tonight, when I opened the file it all appeared normal but as soon as I move the mesh or the scene camera, the mesh vanishes from the canvas and all that remains is the bounding box. There is no way to restore the mesh that I can see besides Undoing the movement and just... not moving anything. Which means I can't continue working on this texture, not in 3D at least.

I hope there's a solution I haven't thought of here but really, I'm not impressed.

(Also, I hadn't noticed that I wasn't signed in when I originally typed this post up and, on 'returning me to the page' after making me sign in, the website erased everything I'd typed. Please don't let me start a post before signing in if you're just going to erase it :/ )

What OS version?
What GPU?

And have you updated the GPU driver from the GPU maker's website?

Windows 7 Home Premium, GeForce GTX 560 Ti

I haven't updated the driver very recently, current one is from February so I'll update that now.
