Photoshop: Crop tool overlay is unusable
Due to a total lack of response, I'm reposting tis; this time including an image by way of explanation.
Photoshop 2020; all versions since 21.2.
When using the crop tool, whenever I click on the mouse, a tightly packed grid appears over my image, rendering it virtually invisible.
This occurs regardless of how I have the overlay settings set then bizarrely, on certain images, it doesn't happen.
Sadly the images taken using my Z7 or D7200 aren't among them and the crop tool is unusable.
Unfortunately, the option to add an image of the problem here is denied me as the "add picture" button seems not to be working. (Why am I not surprised?)
I'm currently having to use an old version of Photoshop (pre 21.1) to sidestep this problem.
Any help would be most appreciated.
