PHOTOSHOP: Empty black space under file after switching to higher resolution device

When I am switching from my laptop to higher resolution while some file opened, photoshop makes black empty space under my project. It doesn't go away until I quit my actual file and then re-open it. This bug is only when switching from smaller device to bigger device.

Sorry, don't know if it's clear, in addition I just say that I am connecting and disconnecting my monitor on laptop - so that's meant by "switching to higher resolution device". :)
