Photoshop: Issue saving (overwriting) files straight to a server (macOS)

Hey guys, I work on a Mac with shared files that must stay on our server. (Almost every time) I'm working with them and when I save it during the process (to avoid crashes and loss) I get an error message not allowing me to save overwriting the current file. It's quite annoying because I end up with multiple files and need to clean up the server later or, alternatively, I need to save the file on my computer and saving again to the server later.

Both options are not too practical so I'm wondering if anyone here had the same issue and know how to fix it?

The problem mostly happens using Photoshop but sometimes also happen with inDesing and XD.

Thanks for your attention. Cheers!

Hi Francisco.

Have you just started encountering this issue recently? (Did it work in the prior update or versions?

If this is after updating Photoshop, can you share share which version of Photoshop where it used to work earlier?

What type of Server? What file system and OS? Permissions? Temp file?
