Recently upgraded to the newest version of PS CC and now my bounding boxes around text layers is missing. How do I get those boxes back?

Do you mean the option to "show transform controls" in the move tool?

The bounding box for text normally only shows while you are editing that text.
But the move tool option would make the transform bounds/controls show more often.

No this is not the solution the bounding box of text in paragraph form is not visible in PS2021. the one solution shared shows transform controls.

Maybe it is not showing the border because you just click the "Text" button and text just clicking once.

Let's try to give an area to texting by holding a left button of the mouse then you can control borders after texting.
