Mohammed,

You maybe want to check out Automate > Batch...

You can run and action and save open documents using this command:

Hmm, not exactly trivial: the format you choose might not support all the documents you have open (color modes, depths, sizes, etc.). Even saving all open files back to their original format isn't always possible.

Chris is correct - you may encounter a case where the file format doesn't support the document's properties - and the user would have to be prompted with a dialog.

If you want to save all the open documents, you can choose File>Close All...

You will get the following dialog:

If you check, "Apply to All" and click [Save] it will *try* to save all the documents back to their original format. If the file has never been saved or can't be saved back into it's original format, you're presented with the Save As dialog.

Something similar could be achieved with a script. Someone here or on PS-Scripts.com could probably assist you with a script like this.

O.K
I would like another thing that works the same,

filter all for example, adjust all, something like that it will also be so helpful.

I know that tool, yet it doesn't support everything, it is not enough.

Most of times when I work on documents -lot of them- they all belong to one project, like magazine or calendar...etc

so most files share same work, size, type, color modes....etc.

the tool should be grayed out unless the work matches its possibilities, those tools I ask for should be for huge work and documents not for different separated files.

thanks.

I don't think I'm fully grasping the situation... but when I need to re-save many documents, and perhaps run an action on them as well (you said:I would like another thing that works the same, filter all for example, adjust all, something like that it will also be so helpful.) I like to use either of Image Processor Pro, by Russell Brown, or Picture Processor, the author of which I forget.

So work and save to a folder, then, via PS or Bridge, point either of these two scripts at the folder and tell it to re-save each file to the size, destination, profile, file type, etc, of your choice. They can also launch an action along with the conversion process.

Makes quick work of it.
