Photoshop: Ruler Line follow Cursor

Is there a way to show crossing lines that follow the cursor and go back to the rulers?  I know how to make guidelines but need this ability to eye ball guidelines on a document someone else made that does have consistent spacing

Not currently. There's just the tick marks on the rulers that follow the cursor. As a workaround you can show gridlines over the entire document. I've made this topic a feature request.

Yes, good idea as an alternate cursor choice that is often available on graphics, 3D,architectural,  and CAD programs; as it is very useful for aligning things in a scene.
