Photoshop: Vector Shape Layer Fill Options

Right now if I want a gradient filled shape layer with a circular shape it seems I have to create a gradient fill layer, then add a vector mask, then draw my vector shape into that vector mask.

Perhaps in the options bar of the shape layers we can have a check box or fill option for Solid/Gradient. Then it'll go to the default gradient within that vector shape.

That would be suh-weeeet! :o)

Yes, great idea. So it would be possible to have two slightly different gradients on a shape layer.
