Photoshop: Zoom and Move Tool Lagging with update.

Photoshop was working fine, then it suddenly popped up that there was a graphics disconnect and I needed to update photoshop. I update photoshop - now there's a lag whenever I zoom or use the move tool which is extremely frustrating.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this?? I've never had a graphics issue and I've been using photoshop on my Surface 5 for years.

Go to Preferences > Performance...

Is Use Graphics Processor enabled? If not, reenable.

Thank you! Not sure how it got unchecked, I hardly ever poke around preferences.  Problem was fixed right away :)

I'm having the same problem and unchecking/rechecking the Graphics Processor doesn't help.

I'm not sure if "lag" is the right word. When I zoom or drag, I'm used to the on-screen motion stopping as soon as my fingers stop or I remove them, but with this update, the image motion seems to be inertia driven – I stop zooming/panning but the image continues moving as if there's weight behind it. If I zoom then pan then zoom again in succession, for example, the gestures get backed up behind each other and I have to wait for all those commands to execute before I can do anything else.
