The sad state of the Layers panel.

In Win10, using a standard res display (2560x1440), the Layers panel is a mess of bugs and has been for years. Why is this allowed to happen and persist for so long? Does Adobe not care about the primary UI in Ps for the vast majority of the userbase? Are the standards so low now that details don't matter anymore?

Speaking as someone with a background in commercial image production stretching back decades, these kinds of obvious mistakes are generally unacceptable in the industry. Once you see all these errors, there's no way to unsee them and you'll notice them hundreds of times every day now.
Sorry, not sorry!

I'm showing oct vs march to illustrate that the issue has actually changed and become even worse over the past few months. The dark outline surrounding each layer has now shifted a pixel or two and the bottom edge is no longer visible.

Open the image in a new tab for full resolution fun.

If you change from Entire Image to Layer Bounds you'll see a weird change in thumbnail display. The entire image IS shown, but something is screwy.

Hmm. I just tried that, but i still see the same errors. Maybe depends on the ratio of the layer?
