What Happened to the Recent Files on the Home Screen???

The latest update has no option to show Recent Files on the Home Screen as I cannot find it under the General Preferences where it used to be.  Has it been moved or is it gone?  PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!  Not all of us work in crowded offices where we want to hide out work from the screen.  Or what was your reasoning for this???

It's not removed, it's a bug. I'm having the same thing and when I changed my interface language to Dutch, the thumbnails showed up again. Changed it back to English, and the thumbnails went away again. Tried every solution offered in several other threads, and changing the language was the only thing that made it work. Now if only I actually knew Dutch and could use it that way... alas.

I just rolled back to 22.1.1. What's up Adobe, don't you do any regression testing? - on something so fundamental I would expect better I think

Working fine here...

Whenever you have a potential bug, please at least list which OS you're using.

It's been reported on both Mac and Windows at this point, so it appears to be platform-independent. What OS are you using? And is the option to show recents on start screen still in your general options? Because for those of us affected, the option isn't even there anymore.
