Lightroom: Provide "Do not recompress unedited JPEGs" option in export/publish controls

Please consider providing "Do not recompress unedited JPEGs" option in export/publish controls when export/publish "file type" is set to JPEG. This would be useful when exporting or publishing (as high quality JPEGs) a large set of files that is a mixture of raw files (edited in LR) and JPGs that a

Lightroom/Camera Raw: Profile Canon cameras that do not shoot raw.

The Idea here is for Adobe to consider supporting the market of Canon jpeg-only cameras that support CHDK, by providing Camera Calibration Profiles for those cameras - at a minimum: "Adobe Standard". Background: ---------------- CHDK turns a jpeg-only Canon into a raw-DNG shooting machine. The on

Lightroom Classic: Diaporama Module JPEG Export slideshow

With JPEG Export slideshow in the diaporama module it would be nice to export pictures with their actual size. Presently they are exported in one predefined size (we can choose) for all the pictures exported. So we may get pictures with the background of the diaporama which is not part of them. The

Export Layer as jpeg - what does 0% quality do?

When exporting a layer via "export as..." and choose the JPEG format, the quality setting of "0%" will create a bigger (and less compressed) file than "0%" and a smaller file than "100%". Is this some kind of secret "automatic" setting or just something that shouldn't happen? In the helpfiles, it o

LIGHTROOM: export should use multithreading for better performance

The export performance is quite slow. It looks as if no multithreading is used. On my machine (i7-3520M; 8GB RAM; win7 64-bit) it takes ~4 sec to export a 16 Megapixel RAW image to jpeg.

This is Lightroom 5 Question. I am on a Macbook Pro Late 2011 running OS 10.10.5 I am losing the clipping path in some (not all) of my JPEGs and I think LR5 is the culprit. Here is the process: I capture JPEGs tethered to a Mac laptop via LR5. Once all the files are captured I sit and edit: -A

Lightroom: make baseline sharpness and color noise reduction for raws be 0 (so all raw baselines are same as for rgb files) + bonus idea..

It's really great that raws and jpegs have the same baseline settings now (since PV2012), well, except for sharpness and color noise reduction. No more dealing with brightness baseline of 50, and contrast 25, and blacks 5.. - yippee! I propose that raw sharpness default value be zero, and color no
