Photoshop Elements: Photo Downloader on OS X uses wrong [shot date] for JPEG files

I'm downloading photos&videos from a Canon Powershot into Photoshop Elements Organizer 10 on OS X. I want the files to be copied into subfolders named after the [shot date], which worked fine when I used PSE8 on Windows. With PSE10 on OS X the subfolder names seem to be somewhat random for JPEG fil

Lightroom: "Data/Time digital" not shown correctly in Lr 3.4

I recently noted that in Lr 3.4 the metadata field "Date/time digital" does not show the correct date any more. It always shows the date/time of the other two date/time fields. I've tested my catalog again with Lr 3.3 and there it shows correctly. This seems to be bug introduced in Lr 3.4.

Photoshop Elements: Image Date / Time metadata corruption when opened in Organizer

I reported an issue to the Support Centre and they recommended I put this forward as a feature request. I took a number of photographs over the weekend. When I loaded them into Organiser it changed the EXIF date. For example the first photograph had a date time stamp of 20/05/2011 21:21:23 (date fo

ELEMENTS - Convert Smart events to regular events.

The Smart events is a good way to use time to select a series of media over a period of time (hours up to a number of days or even a month). However, once the time based grouping is identified, it should be able to be converted into a regular event tag. The from and to date on the event tag can be

LR5.3: Panasonic GM1 video files wrong date stamp

Hi, I just installed Lightroom 5.3, and imported images and video captured with the Panasonic GM1 camera. Videofiles get the wrong date stamp: they show the time/date of import in LR, not the time/date of the video capture moment. I have used a Panasonic GF1 in the past, can't remember seeing this

Bridge: Date Modified Filter broken

We have two "Today" groups, then Yesterday, 2 days ago etc. The labeling is wrong, the first Today is today, the second Today is yesterday, Yesterday is actually two days ago, and so on. We're in New Zealand, so it's probably a time zone issue, but it has been present since CS5 and is obviously quit

Lightroom: Ability to adjust the date & time on import instead of afterwards

Lightroom: I would like more options on the import options to be able to adjust the date & time on import instead of doing it after all images have been imported. If I know all my images are out by x hours after a holiday, I'd like to adjust that during the import process.

Lightroom 4.1: Importing photos from iPhone 4 clears metadata

Importing photos from iPhone 4 clears metadata including capture dates/times for some of the photos. It is possible that iPhone itself corrupts the metadata somehow but this also seems to be a problem in Lightroom as the Import dialogue shows the times correctly but after the import dates/times hav

How can I organize my iPhone photos imported from Lightroom Mobile?

Hey all, I'm using Lightroom Mobile to bring my iPhone snapshots into my LR catalog. I'm having some challenges sorting out how I can actually get these photos into my normal folder tree however. I typically import into a Year/Month folder structure, but I can't see how to automatically sort thes

Bridge: "Date File Modified" entry does not update if I update a Canon CR2 RAW file that had previously been edited (CS5.1 4.1.0.54)

I believe that I have found a bug in Bridge CS5 running on Windows XP SP3. The problem is that in Bridge CS5, the "Date File Modified" entry does not update if I update a Canon CR2 RAW file that had previously been edited. The same applies for DNG files and possibly other file types, but I have not

Lightroom: More flexible jpg printing and finding most recent edits

As a daily user of LR since version 1, I could use two additional features. In the Print module, the next version of LR needs to have custom settings lower than 4.0. LR seems to store edit dates but they are not visible - it needs to have an edit date in metadata that automatically lists the la

LIGHTROOM - Add Face Detection Plausibility Check Based on Date of Photo

The face detection algorithm seems to lack a very simple parameter for the plausibility of the detection of a person: It is more likely that the same persons are on photos which are all taken at the same day. This would mean that the face detection algorithm not just analyses each photo as an indiv

Photoshop: When will Photoshop CS6 be out?

Is CS6 in development, as I am running CS4 on mac platforms, and don't want to upgrade to CS5 if CS6 is due for release, i'm asking this question mainly as I am delaying the upgrade to OSX Lion due to forums stating major problems with Lion and CS4. Even a hint would be useful :-)

Lightroom: Edit Capture Time feature is missing an essential capability

Lightroom's Edit Capture Time feature lets me shift capture times by +/- 24 hours (in integer amounts), or set all photos to specific time, but I recently had to use an external tool to achieve what I needed. A not-so-uncommon use case is the need to shift capture times by years, months, days, and
