This issue does not affect Elements 10 Organ

Photoshop CC: Setting the default image editor in Windows 7.

I've been trying several different ways of setting Photoshop CC as the default image editor in Windows 7 and this appears to be blocked. The system ignores my selection of PSCC and randomly applies PDF or Dreamweaver or itunes or Windows Photo Viewer to opening of Jpgs and JPEGs. This is so bizarre!

Photoshop CS6: file not found when trying to open JPEG files (old plug-ins installed)

Anyone get this lately? PSD CS6. Suddenly, no jpg file will open from either Bridge CS6 nor the finder directly into PSD. JPGs will only open in PSD if I go through CameraRaw.

Lightroom 3.5 corrupting JPG files!

I'm running a trial of Lightroom 3.5 and am loving it so far--except that I am experiencing the same issue with JPG files that I have read so much about in LR 3.4. Has anyone else run into this with LR 3.5? I have stopped writing metadata back to the files for fear of corrupting more files. It ha

Lightroom: Import Bug (Multiple JPEGs) in 3.4.1

I am re-importing my whole collection of about 50,000 photos on LR3 one or a few folders at a time. I am converting to DNG on import to a separate Hard Drive on a folder with the same name as the original (ex: 2010-05-08 - Scotland). Some of the folders contain only RAW images (CR2) and some other

Photoshop SaveForWeb: Saving jpg files / file versions

Saving jpg files: I don't know if there is a problem. When saving jpg via Save for Web and Devices, the default file name is the one that was opened before editing, but the default folder is different. Is this counter-intuitive. Either way, it should ensure that the original file is not overriden

Photoshop: JPG export produces image sizes that are slightly different from the original.

When I try to export a 100% JPG copy of a PSD, the output image size in pixels is slightly different from the original size, creating a mis-sized and mis-aligned image.

DNG: include check codes for jpeg image data, like there are for raw image data.

I just noticed that jpeg images do not enjoy the same benefit as raw images when wrapped in DNG. I assume this was just an "oops", since I can see no technical reason for it. The value in so doing is the same for master jpegs as master raws. Please include & check codes for jpeg image data too. Bo

Bridget: Output module Proof sheets do not show ACR settings applied to jpgs

Was trying to make proof sheets using the output module in Bridge and ACR settings applied to jpg files do not show correctly on developed proofs (i.e. the original colour sans settings shows) You can obviously get around it by saving out new files, but would be nice to be intergrated.

Lightroom: More flexible jpg printing and finding most recent edits

As a daily user of LR since version 1, I could use two additional features. In the Print module, the next version of LR needs to have custom settings lower than 4.0. LR seems to store edit dates but they are not visible - it needs to have an edit date in metadata that automatically lists the la

Lightroom 5 has been having problems importing images from my iPhone 5s. It repeatedly says it can't import files because they may be corrupt, or that it failed to import files because it couldn't connect to dynamic link. I'd say mostly .mov files are affected with the latter error. After multipl
