Photoshop: Ability to load Hue/Saturation range as a selection

Some times I want to make an edit to areas that I have just adjusted with color ranges in Hue/Saturation. I would like to be able make a selection of this range. It would give similar results to the Color Range dialog.

Lightroom/Camera Raw: I Love Split Toning

I'm not sure what the original intent of split toning was. And, I think it was Scott Kelby who said it was too limited. But I now use it regularly for: - Correcting shadow hue shifts that result from adding extreme black point compensation to very low contrast shots. - As a roll-yer-own hue shifte

Lightroom / Camera Raw: Simple Hue Adjustment for shifting all colors

HSL is great but sometimes I want to shift all colors in a picture (known from photoshop). A simple and "global" Hue adjustment slider would be helpful. the Hue slider for big and general shifts HSL for further refinement. The feature should also be availiable for local adjustments (i.e. brush, gr

Photoshop CC: "Proof colors" turning off unexpectedly?

It happened with cs6, I bet it hapened with CS5 (I don't remember noticing it suddenly appearing with CS6, so either the problem comes from many versions ago, or it's just I don't work with print as much as I used) "Proof Colors" is checkmarked, "Proof setup" shows "Working CMYK" checkmarked, and a

I need to correct luminance in a photo! Ps CC 64bit. This was no problem back in 32bit CS6. I don't remember if I ever had it working in 64 bit, but surely there is a 'modern' replacement? We're talking about Photoshop...

Photoshop: How do I create a saturation mask?

I'd like to perform an operation to perform "curves" effect on the saturation of image. Curves can already work on Red, Green, Blue, or RGB. This would be an effect that converts the RGB to HSB, and applies the "Curves" effect to only the "S" while leaving the H and B unchanged for each pixel.

Photoshop: Show indication of active Hue/Saturation color ranges

The Hue/Saturation adjustment layer panel doesn't give any indication of which color ranges have had hue/saturation adjustments made to them. It would be nice if the panel had some sort of indicators to show which ranges have had changes. Also, it would be nice if it stayed on the same range when

Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me with this one; I shoot in RAW using Canon 650D with various lenses but recently I have noticed that when opening my photos in Photoshop those with red, burgundy, deep purple or pink are so oversaturated that you cannot see any detail. It has never been an

Lightroom not reading custom "picture style"

Using Lightroom 4.2 with the new camera RAW 7.2 and have downloaded some images from my Canon 650d. Problem is Lightroom seems to ignore the custom "picture style" setting i've programmed into the camera. I increased the saturation and saved it to "User Def 1" on the camera. On opening the pictures,
